Hillsborough HIPPY Parent Involvement Project (HHPIP)
HIPPY in Hillsborough County
The Hillsborough HIPPY Parent Involvement Project (HHPIP), an investment collaborative funded by the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County, provides comprehensive case management services to English and Spanish speaking families who reside in both rural and urban communities throughout Hillsborough County, Florida. The University of South Florida (USF) implements HHPIP through the Florida HIPPY Training and Technical Assistance Center, which is the state office for HIPPY programs in Florida.
The HIPPY collaborative is comprised of community partners that provide comprehensive case management services to participants to English and Spanish speaking families who reside in both rural and urban communities throughout Hillsborough County, Florida. The collaborative is piloting an approach to work with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders. These partners work together to increase opportunities for early school success and improve the well-being of children and families in Hillsborough County, Florida.
